Consuming too many soft drinks and energy drinks can damage our teeth. A result of the research mention that soft drinks not only have high levels of acidity (pH) which can damage the teeth, but the level of buffering or the ability to neutralize the acid can also cause negative effects on the teeth and potentially cause damage on tooth enamel.

Researchers conducted an acidity test to five categories of beverages, especially among adolescents and adults. They found that the patients who have experience which their teeth fell off at the age 20. From here, it is revealed that the teeth of soft drink fans became very vulnerable to acid attacks that contained in the soft drink. As a result, the quality of their teeth had become worse and can lead to tooth fell off. They drank lots of soda, sports drinks and energy drinks.
