The problem is, added sugar consist in many forms of food or beverages so that automatically increase the number of calories of the food or beverages. For example soft drinks that containing sugar (sugary soft drinks) and fruit-flavored beverages (fruit-flavored beverages). Both identified by U.S. Department of Agriculture as the largest source of added sugar.
In the situation of foreign products invasion into the supermarket, you should be more cautious. How? Carefully reading the product labels. Better, choose another source of sugar such as fresh vegetables and fruit. Then, the sweet taste of sugar can make you like addicted to. Genetically, humans like sweet taste. That is from researchers from the Monell Chemical Senses Center in Philadelphia.
Although, it can’t be a reason to you for always fill the pantry with candy or donuts. If you indeed are a big fan, try reducing the portions a little bit until you actually consume only the amount of calories that your body needs.
