Recognize The Signs of Diabetes
Recognize the signs if someone has diabetes, as quoted from diabetes library are:
1. Frequent urinate
Urinate will become often when there is too much glucose in the blood. If the insulin (a hormone that controls blood sugar) is none or less then kidneys can not filter glucose back into the blood. Then the kidneys will draw additional water from the blood to destroy the glucose. This makes bladder become full and make someone urinate frequently.
2. Often feels thirsty
Because of frequent urinate, you will become more thirsty, because the process of glucose destruction is difficult then water inside the blood is sucked to destroy it. So that someone needs to drink more to replace the water that has been lost.
3. Losing weight fastly
Mainly occurs in people with type 1 diabetes (genetic factors). Pancreas on diabates patient stop making insulin because the virus attacks on the pancreas cells or autoimmune response that makes the body attack the cells that produce insulin. As a result the body will be difficult to find sources of energy because the cells does not get glucose. Then the body starts to break down muscle tissue and fat for energy so that the weight is continued to shrink.
