Varicose veins are veins that swell beneath bluish skin, usually on the inside of the foot, calf back, or at the knee. Sore legs may feel heavy, slightly swollen knee and the skin over the varicose veins dry and itchy.

The problem is more common in women and is usually passed down in families. Pregnancy, constipation, being overweight, or standing for long periods may increase the risk.

Although self-care measures can not eliminate varicose veins, this will reduce discomfort and prevent more severe varicose veins by improving circulation and muscle strength.

1. Try to avoid standing for too long. If unavoidable, Flex feet every few minutes and shake your toes. If sitting for long periods, get up every 30 minutes and running.

Black eyes are bruises that occur around the eyes, especially due to a direct blow to the eye. You also get a black eye from the other facial injuries because the skin around your eyes is very delicate and easily bruised.

Swelling and bleeding under the skin, especially after the injury occurred. Then, eyelids and the surrounding area becomes bluish black, and gradually become purple and then yellow when bruised improved. Most black eyes disappeared within 10-14 days.

For black eye due to minor injury, do the following treatments at home to minimize bruising and discomfort.

1. Put an ice pack on eyes to reduce swelling and bleeding.

4. Avoid contact sports until the eye recovers.

5. Do not remove the air through the nose with a loud because it can increase blood flow to the face and make the swelling worse.

Hemorrhoids are normal anatomic structures in the rectum. Hemorrhoids are a special type of blood vessels consisting of veins and small arteries. Hemorrhoids inside the rectum (internal hemorrhoids) or at the surface of the outer skin of the anus (external hemorrhoids).
