Common symptoms of sinusitis which are headache, pain on the face, and fever. Almost 25% of sinusitis patients will have fever that is related to sinusitis that they’ve been suffered. Other symptoms like pale face, the color change of the nasal mucus, nasal congestion, the pain when swallowing, and coughing. Some patients will experience intensified headaches when the head is bending forward.
On the allergic sinusitis than the patients will also experience other symptoms that are related to allergy such as itching on the eyes, and sneezing. Mostly sinusitis can be diagnosed which only based on the patient’s complaint history and physical examination that is performed by the doctor. This thing is also caused from examinations by using CT and MRI which although give an accurate results but its cost is quite expensive.
On physical examination will be found of redness and swelling in the nasal cavity, nasal mucus which is like pus, and swelling around the eyes and forehead. Examinations by using CT and MRI is going to required if the sinusitis is fail to be cured with the early treatment.
