Sometimes we forget small or unimportant things which have great impact on our skin. In fact, if we want to get used ourselves to change our bad habits or laziness, we can get rid problems from our skin face.

Washing face with hot water can also open the pores and make them difficult to be close again. In the end, our face looks like an orange with larger pores.

If the pores enlarged, then the dirt will easily get into the pores and cause acne or blackheads. The solution: use cold water to wash your face after using warm water so that the pores can be back to normal. Using ordinary soap to wash the face, the facial cleaners have been adapted to the needs of women’s skin with balanced pH (skin’s acidity level) so that it can overcome skin problems.

While ordinary soaps (bar soap) usually have different pH condition which can damage the skin. Do not use baby soap to wash your face. This type of soap is not suitable for your skin condition because the baby soap is formulated to overcome dry skin that usually occurs on the baby’s skin.

The Danger of Excessive Sweating

Excessive SweatingGenerally, sweat comes out because there is stimulation from the heat or the temperature around. At this point, sweat is the body’s defense mechanism to maintain the acidity of the skin, so that bacteria and fungi do not easily grow. Sweat can also comes out as a result of emotional stimulation such as fear or nervous. Sweating is also part of the process of secretion or disposal of the remains of salt and also toxins from our bodies.

The main content in sweat is 99 percent water and electrolytes such like the usual salt. The amount of sweat that is produce by the sweat glands (sebacea) is varies. Sweat that comes out of a laborer or athlete’s body could be more than 5 liters per day.

Meanwhile, for the office workers or housewives, approximately 0.5 liters or 500 cc. However, according to Dr. Revilda, averagely human is expelled sweat from his body ranging from 600-700 cc. The problem is that sweat could be expelled excessively (hyperhidrosis). It could be more than 600-700 cc.

There are several things that cause the excessive sweating. Certain foods or beverages. And hot beverages that contain caffeine or alcohol and spicy foods can cause excessive sweating. And drugs like some of anti-psychosis that are used to treat mental disorders, morphine, high dose of tioksin and an overdose of pain medication (such as aspirin and acetaminophen).

Diet and exercise. Generally, obese people were easily be sweating than those who had normal weight. Excessive intake of foods can trigger the excessive sweating because the foods were difficult to digested, so the body’s metabolism is working harder and the body temperature will be heating up.
