Continous research about lifestyle factors of those who are sharp / well in a psychiatric or mentally at old age shows that good feelings, both about ourselves and have self-esteem and effectiveness in life which in terms of experts are sometimes called with self-efficacy (the success of self), are the success pillars of elderly to adapt or adjust themselves with challenges in their life.

It is also requires also to maintain control over our lives and feel as if we contribute and participate to the family and our society. This thing concludes a psychological and sociological demonstration which have been long known: as we get older, we are tend to have fewer negative emotions, and we are more likely to remember positive emotional stimulation.

In other words, older people often leave negative things, while focusing on the positives.
