Vaccine and Your Cold
Influenza vaccine is safe to use. There are only few side effects from using of flu vaccines. If you get an injection of influenza vaccine, your arms will be sore in a few days. You may also experience fever, feel tired or sore muscles in a short time. If you get spraying nasal vaccine, you may experience side effects such as runny nose or watery, headache, cough or sore throat.
If you are pregnant during influenza season, you can not / should not receive spraying nasal vaccine. However, it is recommended for the woman who will become pregnant during the cold season to get vaccine injection. Pregnancy can increase risk for someone against complications of cold.
Vaccine injection is also safely given to breastfeeding women. An injection of flu vaccine does not cause you or your baby to get sick.
